Who operates EdgeX

EdgeX Terminal is operated by EdgeProp Trading S.R.L. EdgeProp LLC is an affiliated company. For privacy questions or requests, email support@edgeproptrading.com and identify your request as relating to EdgeX Terminal.

This policy covers edgexterminal.com and its application and API subdomains. EdgeX uses a separate account database and infrastructure. An EdgeProp account does not automatically create an EdgeX account.

Information we process

When you register, we store your name, email address, verification status and a securely hashed password. We store journal entries and workspace preferences you choose to save, together with account and activity timestamps. Authentication uses session identifiers, verification and password-reset tokens, and security records used to limit abusive requests.

If you choose Google sign-in, Google provides an account identifier, verified email and basic profile information. EdgeX uses your identifier, email and name to create or authenticate your account. We do not request access to Gmail, Drive, contacts or calendars. Your Google password is never provided to EdgeX. You can revoke the connection through your Google Account.

Hosting and network services process technical information such as IP addresses and request metadata to deliver and secure the service. Please do not put broker passwords, payment details or other sensitive information in journal entries. Available connection features depend on your account and the connected service.

Trading connections

When you connect a trading account, EdgeX transmits the credentials you provide to the configured connection service to authenticate your session. The password is not stored in the EdgeX database or browser storage. Account information, balances, positions, market data, order updates and execution history are processed to display the workspace and send commands you confirm. These connection records are held in server memory during the active session. Command identifiers, request fingerprints, acknowledgements and personal risk settings are retained in the EdgeX database to prevent duplicate commands and enforce lockouts. The connection provider processes information under its own agreements and privacy terms. Disconnecting closes the connection but does not cancel existing orders.

Why we use information

We use account and workspace information to provide the service you request, send verification and password-reset emails, maintain sessions and respond to support requests. We process security information for our legitimate interest in preventing abuse and protecting accounts, and retain information where required by applicable law. Choosing Google sign-in authorizes Google to share the listed information for that sign-in flow.

Providers and disclosures

The application and database run on Amazon Web Services in Frankfurt, Germany. Hostinger provides domain and transactional email services. Google supplies optional sign-in. Connected trading providers supply account connectivity and market data. These providers process information needed to perform their respective services. We may also disclose information where legally required or necessary to protect the service and its users. We do not sell personal information or use Google account data for advertising.

Provider processing may involve locations outside your country or the European Economic Area. Where a transfer is subject to data-protection requirements, applicable transfer safeguards must be used. Contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your data.

Cookies and security

EdgeX uses essential authentication cookies, including a secure, HTTP-only session cookie, to keep you signed in. Sessions expire after seven days unless ended earlier. Password reset invalidates existing sessions. Optional Google Analytics cookies are loaded only when you accept analytics. We use HTTPS, hashed credentials and restricted database access; no system can guarantee absolute security.

Optional usage analytics

With your consent, Google Analytics measures page visits, scrolling, registration links, and successful password registrations and sign-ins. Google receives technical browser and device information and cookie identifiers. We send only general page names and event categories, not your name, email, credentials, journal content, balances, orders or trades. Authentication token pages and administration pages are excluded. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled.

You can accept or reject analytics and change your choice using Cookie settings. Your choice and analytics cookies expire after six months; rejecting analytics removes the analytics cookies. The same preference applies to the main site and application. Google processes analytics information under its Privacy Policy. Essential service features remain available when analytics is rejected.

Retention and your choices

Account data and saved workspace content are retained while needed to provide your account. You can delete journal entries in the application. To request account deletion or a copy or correction of your data, contact the privacy address above. We may need to verify your identity before acting. Some information may need to be retained for legal obligations or to resolve security incidents. Deleted information can remain in restricted backup copies until those copies expire or are replaced.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it. You may complain to your local supervisory authority or Romania's ANSPDCP.
