Place drawings, hide the toolbar and save chart appearance.

01Select / move
What it does
Select an existing drawing and edit its anchors.
How to use it
Return here after placing a new drawing.
02Line / ray / horizontal / vertical
What it does
Draw price or time references.
How to use it
Place the required anchors; a ray extends past its second point.
03Rectangle / ellipse / triangle
What it does
Mark a region of interest.
How to use it
Place the shape anchors on the plot.
04Fibonacci / extension
What it does
Measure proportional price levels.
How to use it
Place the required swing anchors in order.
05Text / arrow
What it does
Annotate a point on the chart.
How to use it
Select the tool, then place it on the plot.
06More drawing tools
What it does
Open tools that do not fit in the toolbar.
How to use it
Use the small arrow on a narrow chart.
07Show drawing tools
What it does
Hide or restore the tool strip.
How to use it
Existing drawings stay on the chart.

What it does
Step through drawing changes.

Does not undo a broker order.

Workspace layout presets are stored separately.
Place and manage a drawing
Choose a drawing icon, then place its required points on the plot. Lines and rays need anchors; shapes need their bounds. Use the selection tool to select an object and its handles. Undo and redo are in the top commands.
- Choose the drawing tool from the left toolbar; use its overflow arrow for hidden tools.
- Place the anchors on the chart. Return to selection mode when finished.
- Use Objects in Chart settings to manage existing drawings.
Hide drawing tools
Use the drawing-toolbar visibility control to gain plot space. Hiding the toolbar does not remove existing drawings. Restore it from chart controls when needed.
Templates and appearance
Import and export chart templates from Chart settings. Rendering settings control grid, colors and the optional symbol watermark. Chart templates and saved workspace layouts serve different purposes: a layout places panels; a chart template configures the chart.
