Automatic volume calibration
Learn thresholds from observed trades, review the sample and keep manual fallbacks.
What is learned
The calibration panel summarizes median execution size and the 95th percentile of large prints, window volume, absolute rolling delta and one-second print counts. Automatic thresholds uses recent valid executions within Auto analysis window. The supported analysis range is 20–300 seconds. It needs at least 30 prints and a minimum observed time span before becoming ready.
Apply or continuously adapt
Apply the suggested values when you want a fixed snapshot you can edit. Enable Automatic volume thresholds for ongoing adaptation after warm-up. During warm-up, manual thresholds remain the fallback. The engine excludes the current execution from the baseline used to evaluate it, and refreshes its cached calibration periodically. Contract changes reset the analysis.
- Select the intended contract and settings scope.
- Watch the sample grow and check the ready state.
- Review suggested values against the observed tape.
- Apply the suggestions or enable automatic thresholds.
- Listen through both quiet and active periods before saving a custom template.
Scope and limits
Automatic values cover large prints, volume surges, rolling delta and speed when ready. Cumulative delta keeps its manual threshold. Automatic values do not overwrite your manual fallback settings. Displayed suggestions use retained tape; engine warm-up and its sample can differ. A quiet overnight sample cannot represent every opening-session condition.
Replay calibration
Accelerated replay is useful for exercising the controls. Five-times playback changes delivery pace and sound density. Execution-time speed and receipt-time rolling behavior are not interchangeable. Do not treat a threshold tuned only at 5× as a calibrated normal-speed setting.
