Instrument templates, workflow presets and saved profiles

Settings priority

Choose whether you are editing global settings, a workspace or a contract. Contract profiles take priority over workspace profiles, which take priority over global settings. Global price options, when enabled, override the relevant speech fields across these profiles. Check the active scope before changing a value or saving a preset.

Ten instrument templates

Instrument templates reset to default settings plus their instrument-specific overrides while preserving the feed-owned symbol and tick size. They do not select or roll a futures contract. Thresholds are editable starting points, not exchange recommendations.

1. ES · Index flow: Rolling volume and delta; measured pace. Starting overrides: mode = window, window ms = 2000, min trade = 5, large trade = 100, volume threshold = 600, delta threshold = 200, delta alerts = true, sound profile = soft.
2. MES · Micro S&P: Individual prints with micro-contract thresholds. Starting overrides: mode = trade, min trade = 1, large trade = 100, volume threshold = 400, delta threshold = 150, delta alerts = true, sound profile = wood.
3. NQ · Fast tape: Short notes, fast tape and directional delta. Starting overrides: mode = trade, min trade = 3, large trade = 40, interval ms = 60, note ms = 45, delta alerts = true, delta threshold = 80, speed alerts = true, speed threshold = 35.
4. MNQ · Micro Nasdaq: Micro tape with filtered bursts. Starting overrides: mode = auto, min trade = 2, large trade = 100, volume threshold = 500, delta threshold = 150, delta alerts = true, sound profile = soft.
5. YM · Dow price steps: New-price tones and inside-market direction. Starting overrides: new price only = true, squawk mode = inside, large trade = 20, volume threshold = 100, sound profile = bell, pitch ticks = 20.
6. RTY · Russell balance: Bid/ask balance and rolling volume. Starting overrides: mode = window, window ms = 2500, large trade = 30, volume threshold = 180, delta threshold = 60, delta alerts = true, sound profile = pulse.
7. CL · Energy tape: Short wood tones with larger print alerts. Starting overrides: mode = trade, large trade = 30, volume threshold = 120, delta threshold = 50, delta alerts = true, sound profile = wood, pitch ticks = 16.
8. MCL · Micro energy: Smoothed activity for micro crude. Starting overrides: mode = auto, large trade = 40, volume threshold = 180, interval ms = 140, sound profile = soft.
9. GC · Gold at price: Volume concentrated at the current price. Starting overrides: mode = price, window ms = 3000, large trade = 30, volume threshold = 150, delta threshold = 60, delta alerts = true, sound profile = glass.
10. MGC · Micro gold: Nearby-price volume with quieter notes. Starting overrides: mode = smart, smart range = 2, window ms = 3000, large trade = 40, volume threshold = 200, sound profile = bell, volume = 0.25.

Workflow presets

Balanced Tape is a general starting point. NQ Fast Tape emphasizes activity; ES Volume Flow emphasizes aggregated flow. Micro Futures is a micro-contract starting point. Crude Oil Tape and Gold Price Flow provide different tone/price workflows. Quiet Focus reduces stimulation; Price Steps focuses on movement. Delta Pressure, Studio Female, Calm Male and Bid/Ask Watch offer flow, voice or quote-oriented alternatives. Selecting a preset applies settings; it does not establish a market data connection.

Save and refine

Give custom templates descriptive names including the contract family, session and purpose. Save after testing one change at a time. Delete obsolete custom templates from the template controls. Settings persist for your user, but audio does not automatically resume after reload.
